Chino Valley is located about 15 miles north of Prescott on Highway 89, and sits at an elevation of 4,656 feet. The town was incorporated in 1970 and currently encompasses about 63 square miles with a population of about 15,000.
According to the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, the city “has maintained its rural tranquility and small-town charm. Affordable land, plenty of open space and modern amenities make living in the area very desirable. The town has focused on developing homes and recreational facilities that accommodate a variety of age groups and lifestyles.”
Of the four communities that make up the “Quad Cities” (also sometimes reffered to as the “Prescott area”), land and home prices in Chino Valley are lower than Prescott or Prescott Valley, but may be slightly higher than in Dewey-Humbolt.
